Hoppy Easter

It was a very chilly Easter here complete with sleet and a roaring fire in the fireplace. Nye and Callahan woke up to eggs hidden throughout the house. Some of the eggs had jelly beans, chocolate kisses and chocolate coins, while others had real money for their piggy banks.

The Easter bunny was generous with the boys as their baskets were filled with matchbox cars and Thomas and Friends books, among other goodies.

After naps and early dinner, we visited our pals Charlie and Cade and cracked cascarones (eggs that have been drained of their liquids, filled with confetti and painted) over each other's heads. It was a big time.
