There's nothing like a good book to capture Nye and Cal's attention, so we've been making the most of our local public library. Unable to settle himself down for a nap on Satuday, Cal accompanied me to the library to pick up some seasonal books. Favorites so far include: "Harold and Chester in Scared Silly: A Halloween Treat," by James Howe (this is Nye's favorite); "The Soup Bone," by Tony Johnston (this is my favorite); and "The Witch Who Went for a Walk," by Margaret Hillert.
