Nye admired (coveted might be more accurate) the rain boots worn by the boys in France on the mushroom hunting excursions. Since we’ve had so much rain this year, we thought rain boots might be a fun and practical addition to Nye and Cal’s footwear collection.
A couple days after returning from France, mommy stopped by her favorite thrift store in hopes of finding some cute rain boots. As luck would have it, there were two pairs of matching green frog boots in both boys’ sizes. There also was a matching rain coat for Nye.
One morning we awoke to find a REAL frog sleeping in Nye’s frog boot. Luckily the camera was close by to capture this memorable shot.
